Fishing at 7800ft of altitude
FAMILY EXPERIENCE :
Lake Chardonnet is located at 2384m above sea level, west of Tignes, at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park.
This superb site is accessible by two routes:
– Hiking trail from Lake Tignes (Tignes le lac) (climb 300m vertical drop) in about an hour
– Hiking trail from Tignes Val Claret (climb 300m vertical drop) in about an hour
Fishing open from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm, 3 days per week depending on weather condition. Please call us or come to the office to check equipment availability and opening (the weather change quickly in the mountains). The lake is frequented by rainbow trout and fountain salmon.
½ day entry (3hours) + fishing equipment + bait + 2 catches:
. Adult: 20 €
. Junior (+12 years old): 15€
. Child: 10 €
. Additional plug: 5 €
. Family price (3 pax/4pax)): 50€/60€
. Price without equipment: the same prices are being applied with 3 catches.
You can use a barbecue to eat your catch!
The only way to access the lake this year is to walk from Tignes le lac. It will take around one hour.

It is better to book before going up to make sure a fishing rod is available!
